Suddenly you Can Advertise for Free

Newly formed online marketing firm, Lists of Africa, today (7th August 2008) launched an innovative new service to enable Zimbabweans to advertise for free by email. The new service, an email group called SuddenlyZW will enable anyone who signs up to send short email messages advertising goods and services to thousands of potential customers.
The service will be offered for free and Lists of Africa has not indicated how it hopes to benefit from this service.
Members who sign up will, according to the company, be able to advertise goods such as cellphones, books, houses to rent, fuel, etc- much like a DIY classifieds service.
Reporting on the first day of activities, a spokesperson for the firm said that the response from the public has been encouraging: “Already we have seen some deals being done via the service on the first day. The response has been phenomenal. We are encouraged to offer this service to more people and to launch new services of a similar nature.”

“The name ‘SuddenlyZW’ is meant to portray the sudden power one has upon signing up to the group,” said the spokes person. “All of a sudden one has access to thousands of people for free.”
Lists of Africa aims to use the power of email to market its clients goods and services. The company’s main services are enewsletter management, mailing list management and online marketing campaigns. Around the world email marketing has become one of the fastest growing mediums for growing sales and increasing profits. Response rates are higher than for any other means of online marketing and the costs of email campaigns are very low compared to those of traditional advertising.
